Design concepts

Speculative builds for invented businesses, made to show what a site can look like across different trades and budgets. Nobody commissioned these and none of them are live — every one says so on itself, and every one opens as a real page.

One Hour Guitar God

Design concept · not live

A redesign concept for a guitar course: same content, rebuilt around the promise in the headline. The page says outright that it is a concept and takes no payment.

Voltgrove Electric

Concept · fictional business

Trades and home services, as a one-pager. Conversion-first: the phone number is a design element, there is a sticky call bar on mobile, and the quote form asks for a photo because most jobs can be priced from one.

Ashgrain Bakehouse

Concept · fictional business

Food and drink. Appetite-led and image-first, with the menu treated as a second hero rather than a PDF link, plus hours and a bake schedule.

Solvane

Concept · fictional business

Wellness and class-based businesses, built around a real weekly timetable that collapses from six columns to a stacked day list with no JavaScript at all. Membership tiers and teacher profiles.

Casa Andrela

Concept · fictional business

A boutique guesthouse, and the most art-directed of the set: a booking bar overlapping the hero, rooms laid out as editorial rows, and a direct-booking argument built into the copy. English and Portuguese.

Weldenbrook

Concept · fictional business

Accountancy and advisory, and deliberately the plainest thing here. No gradients and almost no colour, because a solicitor looking at a set of rich, image-led sites concludes none of them are for him.

Marlden Cycles

Concept · fictional business

A bike shop and workshop, and the only one here that sells a thing off a shelf: a product grid with real stock states, and a fixed-price service menu.

Alvamar

Concept · fictional business

A surf school in the Algarve. Seasonal and booking-led, with a month-by-month conditions table. English and Portuguese, because the studio is in Portugal and these are the businesses next door.
